As an organizer of interlaboratory comparisons, we place the utmost importance on protecting personal data and the confidentiality of the information you entrust to us. In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable legislation, we implement strict measures to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all data collected and processed in the course of our activities.
Transparency and Purpose of Processing
We only collect and process data that is strictly necessary for the performance of our missions. CompaLab’s collection of data relating to its customers, potential participants in its interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs), and external service providers is limited to the needs of relationship management:
- Identity and email address;
- For customers, information necessary to manage their participation in ILCs;
- For service providers, information necessary to manage their services and assess their ability to provide appropriate products and services
Each data processing activity is clearly identified and justified, and we commit never to use your data for purposes not foreseen without your explicit consent.
Security and Confidentiality
All data is protected by technical and organizational measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. We only work with partners who meet the same confidentiality requirements.
Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with GDPR, you have rights regarding your personal data: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and the right to object to the processing of your data.
