General Information
The 2020 ILC (interlaboratory comparisons) program includes chemical analyses of metals and ferroalloys, physical tests (metallography, decarburization and heat treatments, intergranular corrosion tests, determination of the roughness of a surface), tests on liquid paints (viscosity, non volatile percentage and volumetric mass, infra-red spectrometry), test on organic or inorganic coatings (thickness, gloss, colorimetry, resistance of the film), aging tests (salt spray test, Kesternich test, water immersion, xenon lamp, UV), mechanical tests (Charpy impact test, Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers hardness tests, several types of tensile tests at ambient temperature or high temperature, bending test and rebend test, tube flattening test, fatigue test), tests of mechanics fracture, tests on welded joints, tests on bolts, tests on steels for concrete, on welded mesh, prestressing steels for concrete, tests on plastic material, tests on admixtures for concrete, tests on sealants (properties and ageing).

In addition to the assessment of the bias and repeatability, the participation to ILC organised by CompaLab provides an individual estimate the uncertainties of your test results.
At last, for participants who need their results very quickly, some samples which properties are known through the results of former ILC are also available.

ILC for which it is possible to pre-register without payment
For ILCs listed hereafter, there is a risk that the number of registrations is insufficient. So a pre-registration procedure is put in place, as follows:
1 - Participants interested in participating pre-register using the registration form. No invoicing is made for this pre-registration;
2 - When at least 10 potential participants have pre-registered, CompaLab asks each of these pre-registrees to confirm their willingness to participate and what are the characteristics for which they commit to provide results;
3 - If at least 8 participants confirm their intention to participate, the CIL organisation concerned is engaged.

Costs of transportation
Transportation costs are computed taking into account the approximate weight of the samples and the country where the samples must be delivered.
Note: if two shipments are required (corresponding to Series 1 and Series 2), prices are calculated separately for each shipment and the amount due is the total of the two.

Discount for multiple participation
A single manual registration of one or several laboratories or of a laboratory to several ILC enables a discount in accordance with the following conditions:
